In October 2025, Dr. Christeen Youssef delivered an international scientific lecture and hosted a specialised conference in collaboration with the ISDS — International Society for Dermatologic & Aesthetic Surgery — at the Hilton Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, on the latest advances in stem cell therapy and regenerative dermatology.
Stem Cells and Tissue Engineering in Clinical Practice
Dr. Christeen presented a comprehensive account of the expanding role of stem cells and tissue engineering in modern clinical practice: in the management of chronic dermatological disease, autoimmune skin disorders, hair loss conditions, diabetic foot ulcers, burns and post-burn scarring.
She set out how regenerative medicine is transforming the traditional treatment paradigm — integrating cellular therapies, biomaterials and new protocols to improve tissue repair and long-term therapeutic outcome, rather than managing the presentation and accepting the result.
